Leadership Guidelines

Before nominating a player for promotion, they must be an active participant in all facets of guild communication. Currently this is in-game guild chat, the forums, and the Discord server. Failure to be involved in these essential guild services is an automatic disqualifier for any leadership position. Additionally, the Nominator and Supporter should have spent sufficient time preparing the candidate for their new role, as outlined below for each rank. Upon successful promotion, either the Nominator or Supporter must be committed to spending time with the player training them in the processes of their new rank, as outlined below. Any and all ranks may be stripped from players due to negative actions, as a result of Emissary quorum, and/or at the discretion of the Guild Leader. Promotions are all pending ratification by the Guild Leader.

Former Emissaries

Capable individuals who have returned and may be reinstated upon nomination by an active emissary and an affirmative vote by the Small Council. Former emissaries who return and are active in the guild but not reinstated will remain under this category. Former emissaries may also have served with exceptional distinction but are placed in — or transferred to — this category due to a long absence.

Estranged Emissaries

Emissaries who left under less than ideal conditions who may be re-guilded, but must once again progress through the ranks of Leadership in order to earn the trust of — and prove their dedication to — UWF. This includes Emissaries who were removed from UWF for offenses such as recruiting within the ranks for a different guild, and may be on the Ban List and are not eligible to be re-guilded (indicated by an asterisk in Leadership listings).
